Product Description
Workpiece condition:
1. Workpiece diameter:100-5000 mm
2. Workpiece length:≤3500 mm (including the length of the arc quenching plate at each end)
3. Material: stainless steel, titanium alloy, etc.
4. Wall thickness: 1.2-10 mm
2. Welding Process:
1)The plasma welding process is used for thicknesses of 3-10 mm, which can achieve single-sided welding and double-sided forming;
2)TIG welding is used for thicknesses less than 3mm;
3)Stainless steel with thicknesses 10 mm require beveling, and the blunt edge of the bevel is 5 mm, the bevel angle is 35° on one side;
4)TIG welding process is used when the thickness is less than 3 mm or the TIG remelting cover surface is used.
Shielding gas: for plasma welding, there are multiple channels of welding shielding gas. Plasma gas generally uses 99.99% pure argon, and stainless steel plasma and TIG welding gun shielding gases use 95% argon + 5% hydrogen to obtain better weld formation and protective color. The drag cover gas and back protection gas use 99.99% pure argon. All gases for titanium alloy welding use high-purity argon
Features of plasma welding system:
1) With strong penetration ability, no beveling is required for plate thickness less than 10 mm, which greatly reduces the preparation time before welding.
2) The arc energy is concentrated, the welding heat affected zone is small, and the welding deformation is small.
3) The welding speed is fast, and plasma takes 4-5 times less time than manual argon arc welding.
4) Excellent repeatability.
5) The arc column has high rigidity and uses a small hole effect to achieve stable single-sided welding and double-sided forming.
6) The electrode is shrunk in the nozzle, which is not easy to be polluted and burned. The electrode has a long life and few weld defects.
7) The welding quality is good and many materials can be welded.
8) The plasma arc has good controllability and adjustability, etc
