Product Description
Orbital welding is a specialized area of welding in which the arc is rotated around a static pipe or tube during welding. Orbital welding systems were developed to overcome operator error and fatigue in the gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) process.
Because orbital welding systems are fully automated and the welding torch remains in the optimal position throughout the weld, the probability of operator error is reduced and the likelihood of welding discontinuities and defects decreases.
